Slovenia: The value of purchased roundwood soared 59% in March

Slovenia's roundwood purchased from private owners in March 2017 was worth Euro 6.2 million, which is more than 52% more than in the previous month (mainly due to the higher quantity of purchased wood), as the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was higher by almost 51% and of pulpwood by almost 40%. The value of purchased other industrial roundwood was higher by 170% and of wood fuel by about 85%.
The value of roundwood purchased from private owners in March 2017 was about 59% higher than in March 2016, mainly due to the higher quantity of purchased wood.

The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was higher by almost 63% and of pulpwood by 55%. The value of purchased wood fuel and of other industrial roundwood was higher by about 8% and 116%, respectively.
