Jul 31, 2014. /Lesprom Network/. Sonoco appoints Adam Wood as vice president of Industrial Europe and a Corporate Officer. The appointment is effective Aug. 1, 2014, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

Adam Wood is responsible for the Company's Sonoco-Alcore subsidiary, based in Brussels, Belgium, which operates 30 tube and core plants and five paperboard mills in Europe.

He began his career with Sonoco in 2003 as European sales director. Over the next 10 years he progressed through various positions of increasing responsibility, including serving as regional sales manager for the Company's North America Industrial Products Division. Prior to this appointment, Wood was division vice president and general manger, Industrial Europe.
