Stark Group opens new branch in Kungälv, Sweden

Stark Group’s Swedish business, Beijer Byggmaterial, is expanding its footprint in Sweden by opening a branch in Kungälv, thereby strengthening its presence in the western region. This development brings Beijer's total branches in the western region to 18 out of 117 branches nationwide.

The new branch in Kungälv is part of a substantial investment in the growth region around Gothenburg. Alongside numerous acquisitions in the region, Beijer is renovating its branch and distribution centre in Hisings Backa into a state-of-the-art business.

With the branch opening in Kungälv, Beijer offers an expanded customer offering with improved opportunities for its customers, both geographically - through increased accessibility - and with an enhanced product range. The new branch is a full-scale and modern pick-up branch with an associated logistics solution for deliveries. The total area amounts to 12,000 sqm and includes, in addition to its drive-in, exhibition areas for building constructions, kitchens, windows and doors, floors and panels.

Beijer is the leading player in retailing and distribution of building materials to professional tradespeople, and an important part of the strategy is to grow in Sweden's western region and connect the Gothenburg area with the coast all the way to Strömstad, close to the Norwegian border.

Stark Group is a leading business-to-business merchant and distributor of heavy building materials for the construction industry in Europe, with a strategic focus on serving professional builders from its more than 1,150 branches.
