In Sweden, an average delivery prices of sawlog fell by 3% in the 4Q of 2016 compared with previous quarter. The sawlog prices fell by 5% in region North, by 3% in region Central and by 1% in region South, as Swedish Forest Agency said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
In total prices of pulpwood remained unchanged during the 4Q compared to previous quarter.
In a comparison between the whole year of 2016 and 2015 sawlog prices fell by 2%. In region Middle prices fell by 4% and rose by 2% in region North. In region South prices fell by 1%.
Pulpwood prices remained unchanged in 2015 compared to 2015.
