U.S. containerboard production in March 2017 was 3.9% higher compared to March 2016. The month-over-month average daily production compared to February 2017 was 3.1% lower, as the American Forest & Paper Association reported.

The containerboard operating rate for March decreased from 97.8% to 96.3%, which was 3.4% higher compared to March of last year.
