U.S. containerboard production in April 2017 was 4.8% higher compared to April 2016. The month-over-month average daily production compared to March 2017 was 2.7% higher, as the American Forest & Paper Association reported.
The containerboard operating rate for April increased from 96.7% to 97.1%, which was 1.9% higher compared to April of last year.
