U.S. containerboard production up 3.8% in June

U.S. containerboard production in June 2017 was 3.8% higher, compared to June 2016. The month-over-month average daily production compared to May 2017 was 0.7% higher, as the American Forest & Paper Association reported.

The containerboard operating rate for June decreased from 99.3% to 96.3%, which was, however, 1.7% higher compared to June of last year.
