U.S. international trade deficit was $90.3 billion in November 2023, up $0.7 billion from $89.6 billion in October. Exports of goods for November were $165.1 billion, $6.2 billion less than October exports. Advance Wholesale Inventories

Wholesale inventories for November, adjusted for seasonal variations and trading day differences, but not for price changes, were estimated at an end-of-month level of $895.7 billion, down 0.2% from October 2023, and were down 3.1% from November 2022. The September 2023 to October 2023 percentage change was revised from down 0.4% to down 0.3%.

Advance Retail Inventories

Retail inventories for November, adjusted for seasonal variations and trading day differences, but not for price changes, were estimated at an end-of-month level of $794.9 billion, down 0.1% from October 2023, and were up 5.1% from November 2022. The September 2023 to October 2023 percentage change was unrevised from the preliminary estimate of down 0.1%.
