Cabinet manufacturers reported overall cabinet sales of were down 5.6% for February 2024 compared to the same month in 2023, according to the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association (KCMA).

The total sales reported by respondents for February amounted to $223.7 thousand. Breaking down this figure, custom sales accounted for $57.2 thousand, reflecting 17.5% year-on-year decrease.

Semi-custom sales also saw a decline of 2.5%, amounting to $123.7 thousand, while stock sales increased by 5.2%, reaching $42.8 thousand.

The year-to-date sales for survey participants decreased by 6.1% to $438.9 thousand in February 2024. Custom sales contributed $110.6 thousand, or 17.8% decline, semi-custom sales reached $244.3 thousand, down 3.1%, and stock sales amounted to $83.9 thousand, or 4.2% increase.

The estimated sales for the overall market in February were reported at $1.2 million. For the year-to-date period, the overall market estimated sales were $2.5 million.
