U.S. paperboard production increased by 0.3% in April

May 22, 2015. /Lesprom Network/. U.S. total boxboard production increased 0.3% when compared to April 2014 but decreased 0.9% from last month, as the American Forest & Paper Association said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

Unbleached kraft boxboard production increased over the same month last year and increased compared to last month. Total solid bleached boxboard & liner production increased when compared to April 2014 and increased compared to last month. The production of recycled boxboard decreased compared to April 2014 and decreased when compared to last month.
