Mar 06, 2009. /Lesprom Network/. Vermont's first wood pellet mill is coming to the town of North Clarendon. Vermont Wood Pellet Co., a venture of Katie Adams and Chris Brooks, will open next month in a building that once housed a wood pallet manufacturer, as Burlington Free Press informed Lesprom Network.
The pellets will be made from secondary pine logs, packaged into 40-pound bags. The owners hope to make 10 thousand tons a year. About 7 jobs will be created.
