In 2007 the volume of Belarus woodworking, forest and pulp-and-paper industries has increased by 10,8 % in comparison with 2006 and has made up approximately 2,94 trillion BYR ($ 1,4 billion), have informed the Belarus Ministry of Statistics. Considerably has increased the volume of manufactures furniture companies. In 2007 they have let out of production by 1,116 trillion BYR ($ 517million). Lumber products increased by 13,5 %, paperboard products by 12,6 %, plywood - by 6,2 %. Wood exported 9,6 % more, than in 2006. At the same time particle board products has decreased (99,6 %), wood-fibre board (94,5 %), conditional wallpapers (97,2 %), paper (87,7 %). The situation with warehouse stocks at the companies of branch remains in norm. Volume of non-realized production at the furniture companies has increased: January 1st, the warehouse stocks were 67,4 % to monthly average volume of manufacture. The profitability of realized production pulp-and-paper branch in January - November was 7,2 % - below, than on the average on an industry of republic (13,1 %). The profitability of "Bellesbumprom" concern was 10,3 % (for the similar period 2006 of 7 %).
