Allweather Wood began operation in 1985 with our first lumber pressure treating facility in Washougal, Washington. In 1991, the company constructed a lumber pressure treating facility near Medford in White City, Oregon. With subsequent acquisitions, we added lumber treating facilities in Ferndale, Washington; Fort Collins and Loveland, Colorado. Allweather Wood now ranks as the largest waterborne lumber pressure treater in the Western United States. Our inventory is comprised of products that can be used for decks, fencing, and landscaping as well as docks, bridges, pole-type buildings, structural-framing lumber and agricultural-use round fence posts. Species include Ponderosa Pine, Lodgepole Pine, Hem Fir, Southern Yellow Pine, Douglas Fir and our newest addition of Redwood. We are currently treating with NatureWood (ACQ), CCA, PTI Cedartone and Borate preservatives as well as DBlaze interior fire retardant. Allweather Wood employs production practices that are environmentally responsible and highly efficient. By extending the useful life of wood products through wood preservation, we are conserving our forests as well as producing premium quality products that meet or exceed the standards of the American Wood Preservers' Association.
