AFRY has acquired MosaicMill Oy, a leading, Finland-based company that applies drone and satellite image data for forest inventory services. The company will be consolidated into AFRY from June 2021.
MosaicMill’s technology enables forestry planning without traditional field work. With digitally collected, accurate data, owners can make well-informed and timely decisions for sustainable forest asset management.
“MosaicMill has developed drone based tree-wise inventory method since 2017. The solution enables fully digital work flow and forms a good basis for precision forestry applications,” said Ismo Hippi, Managing Director of MosaicMill. "We are excited to join forces with AFRY to continue to grow the business and expand AFRY Smart Forestry service offering.”
MosaicMill’s net sales in 2020 were SEK 4 million. The company will be consolidated into AFRY from June 2021.
