Alexander Lumber’s new lumberyard features a new retail sales facility, as well as a warehouse and large lumber shed.The lumberyard officially opened for business on Monday, July 1, and is already serving its customers.
Alexander Lumber has had a presence in Iowa City since 2016, when the company acquired Nagle Lumber. It subsequently opened Answers By Alexander, its interiors showroom and design center, in Iowa City in 2017.
Now, the company is celebrating the grand opening of its newest lumberyard in mid-July, with a private ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday evening, July 18.
On Friday afternoon, July 19, there will be events, including a vendor fair, for local builders, contractors, professional remodelers, and others in the building materials industry.
