Bio PAPPEL’s sales increased by 9.3% in 2017

In 2017, Bio PAPPEL’s sales increased 9.3%, reaching Ps. $23,902 million ($1.3 billion), compared to Ps. $21,862 million ($1.2 billion) in 2016, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

In the 4Q 2017, sales increased 9.3% to Ps $6,069 million ($330 million), compared to Ps $5,554 million pesos ($302 million) the previous year, mainly due to its strategy of import substitution, improvement in mix product and sale of higher value-added products.

In 2017, an EBITDA of $3,557 million pesos ($194 million) was generated, compared to $3,756 million pesos ($204 million) in 2016.
In the 4Q 2017, an EBITDA of $855 million pesos ($46.5 million) was obtained, less than $891 million pesos ($48.5 million) reported the previous year.
