Jan 04, 2011. /Lesprom Network/. Bong has acquired all the shares in the Danish envelope- and printing company Egå Offset in Aarhus. Through the acquisition Bong acquires an envelope printing facility and becomes a major supplier of printed envelopes in all of Denmark through its Danish subsidiary Bong Bjørnbak A/S, as the company said in a press release received by Lesprom Network. "With a presence in Jutland, the Bong sales organisation can provide an even better customer service than before in terms of both envelopes and ProPac, while the acquisition is in line with Bong’s overprinting strategy," says Bong's Nordic Manager Morgan Bosson. Egå Offset will be consolidated as a subsidiary of the Bong Group as of January 2011. The acquisition is foreseen to have a positive result effect from the 1Q 2011. Egå Offset, is a family business specialising in printing and sales of envelopes. The company is an important regional player in the Jutland region. The turnover is approximately SEK 30 million ($4.5 million) and the company has 17 employees. Bong is the leading European provider of specialised packaging and envelope products and offers solutions for distribution and packaging of information, advertising materials and lightweight goods.
