Following their recent merger, Cascades S.A. and Reno De Medici (RDM) are giving themselves a new structure for their sales activities, forming the joint venture Careo S.r.l. for the purpose. Careo, 70% of which is owned by RDM and 30% by Cascades S.A., is to bring cartonboard sales under one roof, EUWID pulp and paper informed.
RDM is putting all the shares of RDM France S.a.r.l. and Reno De Medici Deutschland GmbH as well as RDM's sales network into the venture. Cascades is contributing its wholly-owned subsidiaries for folding boxboard in Great Britain, Germany, Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, and France.
Cascades S.A. is a European division of Cascades Inc. It includes primarily 4 virgin and recycled manufacturing boxboard mills in France, Germany and Sweden, a sheeting operation in England and an overall active sales structure in Europe.
Reno De Medici produces, transforms and markets cartonboard.
