This standard is designed to assist companies in ensuring the legality of the wood products within their supply chains. It is now accessible through the DHA website. The revised standard provides a framework for companies to establish a quality assurance program that significantly lowers the risk of illegal timber and wood products infiltrating their supply chain. It also aids in demonstrating due diligence in managing this risk. The standard encompasses various aspects of the timber industry, including importing, exporting, and interstate commerce of timber and wood products.
