Georgia-Pacific appoints David Duncan as President and Chief Executive Officer

David Duncan has been appointed president and CEO of Georgia-Pacific, effective immediately, moving into the role from his position as executive vice president of the company's consumer products group. He succeeds Mark Luetters, who had served as interim president and CEO since 2025, according to Georgia-Pacific.

Duncan first joined Georgia-Pacific in 2018 as executive vice president of the building products business before assuming the consumer products leadership role in 2019. Prior to that, he spent 28 years at Koch companies, serving as president of performance solutions at INVISTA, managing director for Koch Ventures and Koch Equity Development, and chief financial officer for Koch Minerals.

Vivek Joshi, president of the consumer tissue, towel and napkins business, will become executive vice president of the consumer products division. Joshi joined Georgia-Pacific in 2002 as a marketing manager and has held roles including vice president of innovation and business development, senior vice president of marketing effectiveness, and vice president and general manager of the Dixie business during his 23-year tenure with the company.
