Groupe Guillin has expanded its presence in the Belgian market with the acquisition of two packaging companies, GRUYAERT VERPAKKING and VERPAKKINGEN V de V, through its French subsidiary Alterecopack. The acquired firms, which specialize in custom cardboard pastry boxes and complementary packaging distribution, reported combined revenue of Euro 19 million in 2024 and employ approximately 40 people.

The acquisition aligns with Groupe Guillin's strategy to broaden its product offering and reinforce its expertise in food packaging solutions. GRUYAERT VERPAKKING is noted as Belgium's leading manufacturer in its niche, while VERPAKKINGEN V de V acts as its distributor.

Groupe Guillin, a family-owned business founded in 1972, stated the integration aims to combine expertise to serve customers with high-quality, customizable products manufactured in Europe.
