Henrik Söderström has been appointed Senior Vice President of the Sawn Timber Business at Metsä Fibre and will join the company's Management Team, effective 1 April 2026. He will report to CEO Ismo Nousiainen in his new role, transitioning from his current position as SVP of Sales and Marketing at Metsä Wood.
Kalle Parviainen, who currently serves as SVP of the Sawn Timber Business, has been appointed to a new position within the Metsä Group finance organization as SVP of Controlling Excellence.
Metsä Fibre, the pulp and sawmill business of Metsä Group, produces pulp, sawn timber, and other bioproducts including biochemicals and bioenergy.
