Inwido has acquired Victorian House Window Group Ltd, a UK market leader in uPVC sliding sash windows, for a purchase price of GBP 60 million ($80 million). The acquired company generates sales of approximately GBP 33 million ($44 million) and employs 300 people, operating from a vertically integrated facility in Wales that recycles 30% of its PVC material on-site. The acquisition was announced by Inwido's President and CEO, Fredrik Meuller.

The Welsh factory produces over 1,750 windows weekly and houses all manufacturing processes, including extrusion and its own PVC recycling. Victorian House Window Group operates depots across the UK and Ireland and a hardware manufacturing site in Foshan, China. Inwido cited the UK sash window market's growth potential and the target company's above-average profitability as key factors in the deal.
