Kadant Fiberline (China) Co. Ltd., a subsidiary of Kadant Inc., starts-up of its OCC and approach flow systems on Shanying International’s new recycled pulp line in Prachin Buri province, Thailand.
The new recycled pulp facility in Thailand began test runs in May using OCC furnish from the U.S. With China’s full recovered paper (RCP) import restrictions starting at the beginning of 2021, the recycled pulp output from the Thailand plant is expected to be shipped to China to feed the company’s board machines.
As part of the Kadant Foundations fiber processing product line, this system features innovative technologies and equipment enabling the mill to operate with excellent stock quality and yield while generating up to a 20% reduction in fiber and energy consumption.”
