Kronospan to invest Euro 100 million in construction of technology park for particleboard production in Kirov region

Austrian Kronospan plans to invest Euro 100 million in construction of technology park for particleboard production in Kirov region, press-service of regional government reported. Technology park with total area of 300 hectares may be located in Yurjansk region. The investment agreement is being prepared, Regnum reported. Kirov region is attractive for potential investors because it’s rich in raw materials and is located close to large regions like Nizhegorod and Perm regions, Tatarstan, Mariy El and Komi republics, - governmental press-service noted. Technology park in Kirov region may become second enterprise of Kronospan in Russia. Kronospan Russia declined to comment the announcment.
