Kronospan to invest Euro 300 million in construction of particleboard production in Perm region of Russia

Austrian Kronospan is planned to invest Euro 300 million in construction of particleboard production in Dobryanka (Perm region of Russia), said Perm region government in the statement. Kronospan’s executives have examined a platform in 100 hectares in Dobryanka and have met with Oleg Chirkunov, Governor of Perm region. Marcus Habegger the Chairman of the Board of directors of Kronoshpan company has noted, that they have found understanding with the governor on a number of the basic questions and also he has informed, that within the first year in construction of the factory will be invested about Euro 80 million. The construction process will take two years.
