LP Building Solutions will see Jason Ringblom, the company's current President, succeed Brad Southern as Chief Executive Officer on 19 February 2026. Southern is retiring after leading the company since 2017, a period during which the firm's share price grew fivefold and it returned over $4 billion to shareholders. The board-led succession plan was announced by the company.
Ringblom, a 21-year veteran of LP, has served on the Executive Team for eight years and previously led the company's OSB and Siding businesses. He holds a bachelor's degree in Forest Products Marketing and Business Management from the University of Minnesota. The transition concludes a comprehensive succession process led by the Board of Directors in partnership with Southern.
