Large reconstruction worth RUR 1 billion started at Cherepovec plywood and furniture mill

Aug 16, 2006. /Lesprom Network/. Large reconstruction worth RUR 1 billion started at Cherepovec plywood and furniture mill (Vologda region, Russia), enterprise reported. New particleboard facility will be constructed in 1.5 years. The equipment worth $13 million will be supplied by Dieffenbacher. New equipment will allow to produce particleboard of different width and formats, allowing to increase orders and production volumes. The start-up is scheduled on January 2008. At present, the mill produces boards with width of 16 mm and format 3 500x1 750 mm.
