A pioneering investment has recently been initiated by Mosser Leimholz GmbH and the order for a complete cross-laminated timber production line was placed with Ledinek. At the Randegg site in Austria the new production line will go into operation in 2023.
The production capacity will be 55,000 m3 per year and 35 new jobs will be created. The supply of raw material is provided by sawn timber from the company's own sawmill.
Starting in 2023, Mosser Leimholz GmbH will manufacture CLT elements for walls and ceilings under the Mosser-CLT brand. With this, the company takes the step to become a full-range supplier.
Ledinek will deliver everything from the raw wood input to the handover of the formatted and sanded CLT elements to the CNC machining centers - including the master computer "X-Lam Manager". The individual layers are prepared into single-layer glued wood panels with the Z-Press, which promises airtightness and a higher pressing capacity on the XM-Press.
The Mosser group of companies was founded in 1924 and is today a high-tech company for glued and sawn timber with 225 employees at 3 locations in Lower Austria.
