Ministry of Natural Resources forbad all types of timber cutting in the summer

Corresponding requirement is included into new Sanitary Regulations of Russian Federation that are approved by the Ministry of Natural Resources order N30 of December 27, 2005. The document was registered in the Ministry of Justice on March 16, 2006, the Ministry of Natural Resources reported. Section 9 of these rules contains the regulation stating that all types of timber cutting have to be performed during the winter period using sparing technologies of working in cutting areas and of bucking, skidding and hauling of timber. The rules are approved by Ministry of Natural Resources and are registered in the Ministry of Justice so they are an official document that is subject to implementation. That means that by the end of the winter period all cuttings in Russian forests will became illegal.
