Premier Forest has acquired engineered timber specialist National Timber Systems (NTS) from the administrators of National Timber Group UK. The transaction secures 160 jobs at NTS with plans to grow the workforce to 250, and includes operations in Bristol, Newcastle and Catterick, according to Premier Forest.
The acquisition enhances Premier Forest's timber engineering portfolio, integrating the NTS product range – including the BBA-accredited NTSROOF system, roof trusses, and floor cassettes – with its existing Mon Timber Engineering division.
The move follows Premier Forest's recent purchase of two Arnold Laver sites from the same administrators.
NTS supplies major housebuilders and the modular construction sector across the UK.
