Raute's Group-wide order backlog is still at a reasonable level thanks to previously received orders. However, the market environment in 2025 has been exceptionally challenging in the Wood Processing and Analyzers business units, which has affected the accumulation of new orders. The Company estimates that from July-August onwards, the workload will decrease significantly in certain parts of the delivery organization. This is due to the timing of the order backlog deliveries, which affects the workload of different functions at different cycles.

To adapt capacity to the temporarily reduced workload, Raute Corporation has initiated change negotiations regarding possible temporary layoffs in the Wood Processing and Analyzers business units in Finland.

The change negotiations concern all Finnish locations of Raute Corporation. The negotiations cover a total of approximately 400 people. The possible need for layoffs is a maximum of 90 days, and the layoffs would be implemented during the second half of 2025. The scope and duration of the layoffs depend on the development of the number of new orders in the near future and its impact on the workload of individuals and departments. Possible layoffs may target all personnel and all personnel groups covered by the negotiations.
