In accordance with the regulation 234 by the local administration dated June, 13 2001 Dallesprom together with Nisse Ivai Corporation will launch certain production capacities in Komsomlsk-on-Amur to produce shelled lead of hardwood, which is of great demand on the international market. As soon as the new enterprise reaches project capacity, it will process about 250 thousand cub m of veneer raw materials presently exported, which will increase the efficiency of forestries usage and will boost production with high added value. Due to this, local governor Viktor Ishaev signed an agreement number 16 dated January, 30 2005 ‘The creation of production capacities to produce shelled lead in Komsomolsk-on-Amur’. In accordance with the document, local ministry of timber industry, Dallesprom and Japanese Nisse Ivai Corporation were entrusted with the organization work to create production capacities in Yunost-city by March, 1 2004. Komsomolsk-on-Amur local administration chief Vladimir Mikhailev signed an agreement integrating municipal property on the enterprise by including several muninipal-owned buildings into it. Local ministry of natural resources together with ministry of timber industry and Dallesprom were entrusted with designing a mechanism of veneer raw materials supplies to the enterprise.
