Slovenia's  roundwood purchased from private owners in February 2021 was worth Euro 5.1 million, which is almost 98% more than in January 2021 (the main reason for the lower purchase of wood in January 2021 was unfavourable weather conditions).

The values of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs and of pulpwood were twice as high as in the previous month. The value of purchased wood fuel was higher by almost 37% and of other industrial roundwood by about 60%, as the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The value of roundwood purchased from private owners in February 2021 was about 18% lower than in February 2020. All the values of individual categories of purchased roundwood were lower than a year ago, except the value of pulpwood.

The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was lower by about 24%, of other industrial roundwood by almost 49% and of wood fuel by about 65%, while the value of purchased  pulpwood was higher by about 86%.
