Compared to last March, the value of roundwood purchased from Slovenian private owners decreased by 11.0%. The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was lower by 5.4%, most significantly as regards oak logs, according to the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia.
The value mostly declined due to the lower quantity of purchased wood. The value of purchase went down substantially also in other categories of wood.
Compared to February 2025, the total value of roundwood purchased from private owners increased by 4.3%. The value of purchased fuel wood was higher by 11.0%, of pulpwood by 5.6% and of sawlogs and veneer logs by 4.3%. Lower was only the value of other industrial roundwood.
