Euro 4.3 million of roundwood was purchased from Slovenian private owners in November 2023, which was about 17% less than a month before (due to lower quantities of purchased roundwood), according to the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia..
The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs went down by 16%, of pulpwood by about 17%, of other industrial roundwood by about 14% and of wood fuel by almost 24%.
Compared to November 2022, the value of roundwood purchased from private owners decreased by about 28% (due to a decrease in both quantities and average prices of purchased roundwood). The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs went down by 20%, of pulpwood by almost 48%, of wood fuel by about 31% and of other industrial roundwood by about 39%.
