The total purchase value of roundwood from Slovenian private forests increased 56% year-on-year in October 2025, according to Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia. The value of sawlogs and veneer logs rose 61%, while fuelwood saw the sharpest increase of 86% over the same period.
Compared to September 2025, the total purchase value grew 10%. This monthly increase was primarily driven by fuelwood, whose value rose 67% due largely to a 59% higher purchase volume. In contrast, the value of industrial roundwood fell 36% from the previous month, while the value of other industrial roundwood decreased 26% year-on-year.
