Supremex Inc. announced its results for the 2Q ended June 30, 2020. Total revenue was $47.7 million, equivalent to the 2Q 2019.

EBITDA was $6.9 million, compared with an EBITDA of $6.6 million in the equivalent period of last year, an increase of 3.9% primarily from the contribution of Royal Envelope and higher e-commerce packaging sales. Adjusted EBITDA for the 2Q 2020 was up $0.1 million, to $6.9 million. Adjusted EBITDA margins increased to 14.5% of revenue compared with 14.2% in the equivalent quarter of 2019.

2Q 2020 net earnings were $1.9 million (or $0.07 per share), compared with $1.8 million (or $0.06 per share) for the equivalent period in 2019.

Total revenue for the six-month period ended June 30, 2020 reached $100.1 million, a 2.9% increase from $97.3 million for the six-month period ended June 30, 2019.

EBITDA increased by 11.5% or $1.5 million, reaching $14.6 million in the first six months of 2020, up from $13.1 million in the equivalent period of 2019. Adjusted EBITDA was $15.1 million compared with $13.3 million during the first half of 2019. Adjusted EBITDA margins stood at 15.1% of revenues, up from 13.6% in the equivalent period of 2019.

1H 2020 net earnings stood at $4.5 million (or $0.16 per share), compared with net earnings of $3.6 million (or $0.13 per share) in the equivalent period in 2019.
