Trex Company has appointed Zachary C. Lauer as Senior Vice President and Chief Operations Officer, a role in which he will oversee manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, and research and development functions. Lauer brings more than twenty years of industry experience to the position, including a decade with the composite decking manufacturer. The announcement was made by Trex Company.
Lauer most recently served as Senior Vice President of Supply Chain and Manufacturing at Trex and previously held Group Vice President and Vice President roles within the company. Before joining Trex, he held senior supply chain, manufacturing, and engineering positions at Newell-Rubbermaid and Federal-Mogul.
