To support certified entities and certification bodies during the COVID-19 challenge, Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) has extended the transition period for its three revised international standards by six months. The transition date is now 14 February 2022.

The revised and improved license agreement for the FSC certification scheme will initially be implemented with a pilot phase, starting early in the 2Q 2020 in Brazil, China, Germany, Russia and the United States before being extended to other countries later in the year.

Ipe Woods USA joins IWPA

PEFC Luxembourg achieved the re-endorsement of its revised national forest certification system. PEFC Luxembourg joined the PEFC alliance back in 2002 and first achieved endorsement of its system in 2005.
