Annandale Millwork and Allied Systems Corporation will invest $11.5 million to expand its manufacturing operations in Newport News, Virginia, a move expected to create 154 new jobs. The project includes a commitment to purchase more than $6 million in Virginia-grown forest products over the next three years, according to Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin.

The new facility will produce roof trusses, floor trusses, prefabricated wall panels, and custom millwork to serve residential and commercial builders. It represents the company’s third major manufacturing site, complementing its existing headquarters in Winchester, Virginia, and operations in New Jersey.

Annandale Millwork, founded in 1952, remains family-owned and has grown from a small lumber business into a multi-state supplier of structural building components.

Governor Youngkin approved a $200,000 grant from the Governor’s Agriculture and Forestry Industries Development Fund to support the expansion, with matching funds provided locally. The Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, the City of Newport News, and the Newport News Economic Development Authority also backed the project.
