Ence has already closed sales agreements for more than 1 million tons of cellulose for this year 2024, which means covering the maximum production of the company’s biofactories for the current year.

Mainly, the sales agreements reached are destined for the European market, in which that Ence has important competitive advantages in logistics and customer service. Through These operations, the company manages to increase its market share on the continent, and improve its positioning in key segments. Such is the case of specialties, packaging and, very especially, tissue, segments that represent close to 90% of contracted sales. In this sense, it is worth highlighting the increase in volume in growing segments, like that of sanitary papers.

It is worth highlighting the growing weight of special products, included under the “Ence Advanced” brand, which provide extra added value in a highly competitive. This is special cellulose intended for a multitude of applications that allow the replacement of long fiber with short fiber; and that stand as sustainable alternatives to fibers synthetic materials, such as plastics, thus contributing to the advancement of the circular bioeconomy. These products already represented 25% of the company’s pulp sales revenue in the third quarter of 2023. Ence’s objective is for them to account for more than 40% of the sales of cellulose in 2027.

In this way, Ence achieves a reference position in a market in which demand The world pulp market has experienced significant growth, accumulated since 2021.

On the other hand, the sales agreements closed for this year show the important capillarity of the company, in such a way that the operations closed with small and medium clients.
