The 2026 Global Softwood Log & Lumber Conference will be held March 11–12 in Vancouver, British Columbia, at the Vancouver Marriott Pinnacle Downtown Hotel, and it will be the event’s 16th annual edition, Forest Economic Advisors announced.
FEA said the program will include 2026–2027 market forecasts from its analysts and sessions focused on trading, supply chain logistics, and pricing strategy, with presentations from industry executives. The event will also include networking with participants from across the global softwood market.
The agenda lists an opening global outlook session moderated by Crystal Gauvin and featuring presentations by Brendan Lowney on macroeconomy and housing, Gauvin on lumber, and Rocky Goodnow on timber.
Day one also includes a keynote by Vikas Enti, co-founder and CEO of Reframe Systems, on housing manufacturing methods using robotics, algorithms, and advanced fabrication.
Other scheduled speakers include Dave King of the Home Improvement Research Institute, Samuel Guy-Plourde of FEA, Brent McClendon of the National Wooden Pallet & Container Association, Greg Lewis of FEA, Robert Hagler of ForestEdge, Nick Broekhuizen of Mosaic Forest Management, Seiji Omote of FEA, Erik Eliasson of Norra Timber, Jane Guo of FEA, Keiichiro Aoki of JK Holdings, Danny Kuo of Enhanced Forestry Co., and Alexei Bogatyrev of Lesprom Network.
