Hinojosa Packaging Group has finalized the acquisition of French folding carton specialist ASV Packaging, integrating its three production facilities and 200 employees into the group. This move increases Hinojosa's total workforce to nearly 3,000 and brings its number of production sites in France to seven, strengthening its portfolio with a full range of packaging solutions. The transaction completes a process that began in July 2023, according to Hinojosa Packaging Group.
The acquisition consolidates Hinojosa's position in the folding carton sector, now operating nine specialized plants across Spain, Portugal, and France. A key synergy is the production of the HALOPACK cardboard tray, a sustainable solution that replaces rigid plastic trays for fresh food, for which Hinojosa is now the exclusive producer in both the Iberian Peninsula and France. The group maintains a decentralized management model, allowing each site autonomy to adapt to local market needs.
