Honkarakenne Oyj has concluded its change negotiations, resulting in the dismissal of up to seven employees and substantial changes to the employment terms of nine others. The restructuring decisions impact business areas, design, project management, production, maintenance, and marketing functions, according to Honkarakenne.
The company has also issued a layoff authorization affecting 49 wage earners, 42 clerical employees, and 43 senior clerical employees, which may be implemented during 2026 and early 2027 if required by its financial or production situation.
Honkarakenne estimates the measures will generate annual personnel cost savings of Euro 1.1 million, with a one-time cost of Euro 0.1 million recorded for redundancies and related services.
