Ilim Pulp Exim and Chinese Heilongjiang Chemical Group Co., Ltd signed letter of intent

CEO of Ilim Pulp Exim Dmitry Zvetkov and president of Chinese Heilongjiang Chemical Group Co., Ltd Yan Shuzhong have signed letter of intent for deliveries of hydrogen peroxide for peroxide bleaching of pulp to Ust-Ilimsky LPC (Ust-Ilimsk, Russia) and Bratsky CKK (Bratsk, Russia), Ilim Exim press-service reported. The parties consider the possibility of long-term cooperation. “Taking into account that a large amount of production from Ust-Ilimsky LPC and Bratsky CKK is supplied to China, it means further integration of Ilim Pulp Corporation in world economy. It confirms its orientation to transparent and mutually beneficial business”, deputy director on internal procurement of Ilim Pulp Exim Elena Gavrilova said. Ilim Pulp Exim is one of the largest suppliers of a wide range of materials, chemicals and POL for forest industry. Company’s customers are logging and wood-processing enterprises from different regions of Russia. Ilim Pulp Exim commodity turnover is $250 per annum. In 2007 the company has purchased and delivered more than 50 000 items of chemicals, metal, materials and components from 2 435 suppliers. High-tech corporation Heilongjiang Chemical Group Co is among ten largest companies in Heilongjiang province of China. At present rate of growth it will become national leader in its market niche in the near future.
