Karl Maschutznig has assumed the role of branch manager at the JAF Villach site in Austria, succeeding Andreas Winkler who retired after more than 20 years with the company. Maschutznig joins the international timber wholesaler, known locally as J. u. A. Frischeis, from panel manufacturer M. Kaindl GmbH, where he served for nearly 13 years as a regional sales manager. The leadership transition was prepared step by step from September 2025, according to JAF.
The Villach branch, established in 1965, supplies timber and wood-based materials to regional crafts businesses and industrial customers across Carinthia.
Maschutznig, a trained carpenter, stated his aim to further develop the site and support customers with the expertise of the existing team.
The JAF Group operates as one of Europe's leading suppliers in the timber wholesale sector.
