Koppers Holdings Inc. has expanded its Board of Directors from eight to nine members and elected Laura Posadas as a new director, effective 5 November 2025. Posadas is the Chief Executive Officer of coatings manufacturer Canlak Coatings Inc. and brings more than 20 years of experience in global leadership roles within the specialty chemicals industry.

Posadas also serves on the board of global think tank Coqual, where she chairs its advisory arm. She holds a chemistry degree from The University of Delaware. The company stated that her background in driving innovation and strategic growth aligns with the future direction of Koppers, an integrated global provider of treated wood products, wood treatment chemicals and carbon compounds.
