New stock preparation sales manager appointed at Voith Paper for Asia and Africa

Jun 06, 2006. /Lesprom Network/. Effective from 01 April 2006, Roland Pechtl has been appointed sales manager for Asia and Africa at Voith Paper Fiber Systems, Ravensburg, Germany. After studying mechanical engineering with the main focus on electrical and process engineering at the University of applied sciences in Regensburg, Roland Pechtl started his professional career at Escher Wyss in Switzerland in 1990. From 2000 until 2006 he was responsible at Voith Paper, Ravensburg for the sale of special paper machines in the growth market China. Voith Paper is a division of the Voith Group and one of the leading partners to the paper industry. More than one third of the world's paper production is produced on Voith Paper machines. Voith sets standards in paper technology, power transmission engineering, power generation and industrial services. Founded on January 1, 1867, it has a current workforce of approximately 30 000, sales of Euro 3.5 billion and over 200 locations worldwide, and is one of the largest family-owned enterprises in Europe.
