Nov 22, 2010. /Lesprom Network/. Pöyry has acquired 60% of the shares of Silviconsult Engenharia Ltda, a Brazilian forest-oriented consulting company. The company's annual net sales are about Euro 1.7 million. The value of the acquisition is not disclosed, Pöyry said in a press release received by Lesprom Network.
Established in 1989, Silviconsult provides solutions for forest businesses and socioenvironmental management, and is a valuable addition to Pöyry's service offering. Silviconsult employs about 23 experts having its headquarters in the city of Curitiba, State of Paraná in Brazil.
